Vikas is the mastermind behind all things MonstrARTity. He’s constantly pushing the envelope and his creative ideas keep us on our toes. As an award-winning film composer and music producer, he’s known for fusing together genres as varied as punk, hip-hop and Bollywood. Vikas sits on the Mayor’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee for the City of Mississauga, Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Board of Directors; And has been profiled on ET Canada, CBC The National, The Globe & Mail, The Hindustan Times and Zee News.



    Lauren has a degree in Media Studies and a diploma in Public Relations. She has an excellent memory for birthdays and is the personal calendar for all her friends, so it’s only fitting that she’s our go-to for project management. On top of keeping us organized, Lauren brightens up our meetings with her love of sparkly things and frequent “yay”-saying. Her appreciation for the arts includes a love of all things dance, including her former days as a competitive tap dancer.



    Once known as “Hot Sauce” on the basketball courts of Toronto, Amadeo is now more of a Tabasco sauce on the courts but still fire on the keys and percussion. On the stage, Amadeo enjoys performing Latin and funk music. Off the stage, Amadeo is an expert when it comes to project planning, outreach, and fundraising in the non-profit arts sector. As a development specialist, he has been involved with multiple festivals, post-secondary institutions and charities.



    Filip has a diploma in Marketing from Georgian College and a degree in Communications from Laurentian University. He is known for the most enthusiastic high-fives around and his record is 350 in 26 days. As our main videographer, Filip creates and curates the image of MonstrARTity with amazing visuals. His favourite part about being a videographer is interviewing other passionate creators. He’s lucky enough to have interviewed prominent CEOs, famous musicians, mayors, and celebrities internationally.



    Vidhi is the queen behind all things PR and Marketing at MonstrARTity. She is very knowledgeable in the industry, as she holds an MBA degree with a specialization in marketing. Vidhi has the experience to back her as well, as she has worked over 9 years on a variety of campaigns for numerous iconic Indian shows including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Dance India Dance, and the Zee Cine awards. When she’s away from work, Vidhi is a huge content junkie, as she watches everything that moves and talks such as movies, television, theatre, Broadway and stand-up comedy. Vidhi also enjoys travelling, having visited 20 different countries around the world.



    Coming from a traditional East Asian dance background, Cindy studied Communication and Culture at York University, specializing in politics and policy. She became an arts administrator in 2008 to provide a stronger voice for culturally specific arts organizations. Outside of the office and off stage, Cindy enjoys exploring new dance forms and their communities. Cindy loves travelling and going on adventures, some of which have included driving solo in the Middle East, almost losing her way in the middle of the Mauritian rainforest, and taking out someone’s side view mirror. She relaxes by doing aerial yoga and dangling upside down like a bat.



    Jenn is a veteran of the music and live events sector in Canada. With over 17 years experience she’s worked with everything from small concerts and community fundraisers to large scale festivals and galas. Her passion for the arts and unwavering sense of organization has made her a valuable team member to every organization she works with. In her spare time she lends her talents to Save Our Scruff dog rescue and various women in music organizations, two causes that are near to her heart.



    Tai has a Degree in Event Management from the University of West London in London England and studied Artist Management at Berklee College of Music. She’s been working in the festival industry for the past 5 years in a variety of different roles including artist relations, VIP, and production. Tai loves traveling and road tripping, and when she was 19 years old I went to Thailand for 2 months to help rescue elephants.



    A huge music lover, Lucas embraces listening to a wide range of genres, whether it be hip-hop, R&B, country, rock, or electronic, this admiration for music drove him to join the MonstrARTity team. Lucas aims to obtain his degree in Media Studies and diploma in Media Business from the University of Guelph-Humber, in April 2019. In his free time, Lucas is a huge sports enthusiast, rooting for the home-town Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays. Additionally, he has always been a lover of writing and storytelling.



    A global traveler, Danielle enjoys experiencing new cultures, and eating an assortment of food from around the world. Her knowledge in up to date social media channels guided her to become a social media coordinator of MonstrARTity’s various accounts. This passion was driven from her admiration of all things digital and learning about new technology systems to stay ahead of the game. Danielle is heading into her final year at Humber College, where she will acquire a Bachelor of Commerce Marketing degree.



    Like your stereotypical media kid, Jonathan possesses an upbeat positive personality that carries throughout the room. He has graduated at the top of his class on two separate occasions, once for Media Foundations, and the other for Film and Television Production. Besides video production, Jonathan is also passionate about photography, more specifically portraiture. Previously to switching his focus to media, Jonathan received an Urban Planning Degree from Ryerson University.



    A creative and humourous individual, Charlie loves to use his imaginative mind to get behind the camera and make moments come to fruition. His artistic mindset landed him the role as videography assistant at MonstARTity Creative Community. When he’s away from the camera and video software, Charlie likes to read books and skateboard. Pretty gnarly dude!



    Bethan is one of the creative minds behind MonstrARTity’s artwork. She is studying Graphic Design at OCAD U and is heading into her third year in the program. Bethan also enjoys spending time exercising her creativity on Adobe Illustrator, as well as the good old fashion way with a pencil and paper. In her free time Bethan loves being active, as she used to be a competitive figure skater, and today is an avid cyclist due to her obsession with bikes.



    Vanshika is an outgoing person who loves meeting new people and learning new things. Her thriving passion for arts lead her to become a graphic designer at MonstrARTity. A graduate from Western University with a degree in Science, Vanshika will continue her post-secondary education at Ryerson University in the fall. During long commutes, Vanshika is an avid podcast listener. She also loves to talk about slam poetry, musical theatre, the American Constitution, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or in her words “whatever floats your boat!”



    The genius behind MonstrARTity’s online websites, Connor comes from a background in the military. Having said that, Connor has always put school as a top priority, and is currently studying Software Engineering at York University. His dedication to the program earned him the Lassonde Scholarship, which entails creativity, passion, and confidence in all aspects of his life including both academics and extracurricular’s. Connor was also a student advocate as a VP at his school’s engineering society, as well as a peer tutor.



    No matter the time of year, you can count on finding Ivana eating a cold ice cream and jalapeno chips. She chooses only to keep up with the news to stay updated and enjoys it the most if it’s delivered by Stephen Colbert or Trevor Noah. When she gets some time to herself, Ivana has an obsession for shows like GOT, The Office, and New Girl, as well as being a horror movie fanatic. Ivana is currently a student at the University of Toronto, studying Management and majoring in Finance.



    Elaina is currently part of the Arts and Science program at McMaster University. Her rationale behind this is, “why choose to just learn one thing when you can study it all?” While studying in Hamilton, she discovered a passion for community engagement and throwing events that make people smile. In her free time, she loves to bake (cakes, cookies, brownies, and more), read some good novels, and escape into a good TV show.



    Business student by day, #BollywoodMonster all-day. Gurnoor has a passion for the arts and is a major Bollywood fanatic. She always keeps up to date with the latest Bollywood news and gossip. Aside from this, she loves to travel the world and meet new people. Upon joining MonstrARTity, she instantly fell in love with the organization and believes that being a part of such an amazing and hardworking team truly helps her love for entertainment flourish.



    Brenda is a true London, Ontario native, having been born and raised there, as well as attending post-secondary at Western University for Music Composition and Computer Science. She has a tremendous music IQ, which landed her the role as a music engraver assistant at MonstrARTity. Brenda loves everything that is considered ‘nerdy’ and ‘artsy’, most notably fan-fiction, cosplay and covering video game songs. Something high on her bucket list is to own at least one parrot and to teach it to sing harmony side by side with her. Now that’s unique!



    With brilliant musical intellect, Emily studies Music Education at the University of Toronto. She loves singing in choirs, and enjoys a wide variety of music, including Bollywood, which she developed a love for after working at MonstrARTity in the past. Emily’s passion for music pushes her to one day accomplish her dream of becoming a choral conductor and arranger. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and playing video games.



    As a graduate of University of Western Ontario and The Harris Institute, Sari is both tough and fearless. Fluent in music promotion and technical production, you’d want her on your side as an unparalleled production manager, stage manager, and more. She has worked with multiple festivals and every band you can think of.



    Brandon holds a BFA in Music and a B.Ed in Music Education from York University. As a larger-than-life voice and personality, it’s hard not to listen to him. And based on his musical expertise, you’d be missing out if you tried anyways. He is our resident music arranger and by day he teaches music theory to the next generation of musicians at schools in Toronto.




    Kamdar is the powerful force behind all the food, clothing and jewelry at our festivals! He is responsible for the overall management and coordination of all vending operations at our larger-than-life productions. Be sure to say hello and tell him who your favourite vendor is if you see him at our events!
